Little Dan- 2008 Spotted Draft

At one year old! He is absolutely beautiful, the picture does not do him justice!!! My camera date is wrong.
At a year old he is about 15hh!
Still a stud he is turned out with a 28 yr old gelding! GREAT desposition!
Dan is a spotted draft stud (soon to be gelding) colt! He has 4 white legs and a blaze! He is going to make someone a very BIG horse one day! If he grows into his legs and knees like we think he will he should mature to about 17 or 18 hands! His color is changing day by day! Cant wait to see what this little or should I say BIG guy has in store for us! We have a VERY good feeling about this one! Since he learned to halter brake AND LEAD in about 10-15 mins and is always checking everything out. He is VERY smart and is a VERY quick learner! If he is anything like his mother he will be as gentle as a dog! He does have VERY loud markings and he does stand out against the regular blonde sorrels. When the time is right we are aiming on giving him a baby brother/sister. He started out sorrel and is now turning black (a real question for all you color genetic folks!)! You can see his color change in the pics above! But his daddy did the same! He is Chelseas first colt and we are very proud of her! SOLD to Alabama! We are looking forward to updates!
